In November 1995 3 people working with children or in hospitals founded an organization called « MERCREDI DES ENFANTS » now renamed « HOPI-CLOWN » to make sick children less afraid of treatments and to welcome them better in pediatric services..


The idea of this organization started in January 1995 and after consulting different pediatric services and see where their needs were the project could start. A specific training given by professional clowns was worked out for the hospital clowns.
